Ms. Fassett brought to Price, Postel & Parma both her experience gained from 10 years in general civil litigation and her business and corporate background from 7 years as in-house corporate counsel. Price, Postel & Parma LLP, is California's oldest law firm. The firm traces its roots back to 1852 when its founding partner, Charles Fernald, arrived in Santa Barbara as a Superior Court Judge. In 1861, Judge Fernald opened the law office which continues today as Price, Postel & Parma.

Ms. Fassett was asked to start up the legal department for NuSil Technology, a growing company involved in research and development of cutting-edge technology in silicones and related materials. As corporate counsel for NuSil Technology, Ms. Fassett Streamlined and oversaw the legal affairs of NuSil Technology and its corporate development and compliance. Ms. Fassett assisted NuSil in setting up compliance procedures to minimize its exposure in the event of litigation. She coordinated and supervised its legal representation throughout the United States, directed its litigation, business transactions and corporate compliance matters, and handled all employment and regulatory matte

Ms. Fassett handled a broad range of general civil litigation, appeals, products liability, medical malpractice, and employment law.

Ms. Fassett handled a range of business and commercial litigation with this long-standing firm. The firm breakup in 1986 prompted her to go west to California.
